Palazzo Taglieschi Museum

Palazzo Taglieschi was commissioned in the 15th century by Matteo Taglieschi, a mercenary known as “Matteo Cane”. Divided into twenty rooms, the Taglieschi National Museum contains paintings, wooden sculptures from Tuscan and Umbrian schools and various documents from Anghiari and the territory around it.

Worth seeing: a Nativity by Andrea della Robbia, a portable table organ from the first half of the 16th century, a wooden sculpture representing the Virgin by Jacopo della Quercia.
