Villa Pecori Giraldi, on the eastern edge of the historic centre, was restored in the early years of the 20th century and decorated with Chini frescoes and ceramics; this is why it was the most suitable building to house the museum dedicated to this factory.
The contents of this museum, inaugurated in 1999, illustrates the
story of the family and its artists. It reconstructs the environment
of the factory, and contains a collection of the most important
pieces such as ceramic and grès vases and polychrome stained glass
windows.
The very rooms inthe museum, with the original decorations (paintings,
ceramics and stained glass windows), are an essential part of the
exhibition and fully provide a record of the taste prevalent at that
time.

The Villino Chini
On the large avenue, near the crossing with the road to Ronta, there
is Villino Chini, (villa of the Chini family) a residence built by
Chino Chini in 1923. It is not far from the family kilns, where
artistic ceramics were produced. The building is covered in friezes
and other decorations in ceramics and is almost a catalogue of the
production of those years.
