A.I.C.C. - Italian Ceramics Cities’ Association

The Associazione Italiana Città della Ceramica (A.I.C.C. - Italian Ceramics Cities’ Association) is a no-profit association founded in 1999 and seated in Faenza.
The association aims at creating a network of those Italian cities where historically there has been a significant ceramics production, so that the partner cities can engage in a mutual exchange of information and factual cooperation to support and promote, both at national and international level, the knowledge of their ceramics’ tradition.
To that purpose the AICC cooperates with the national and regional Authorities, with the ceramics producers, with the various Trusts, Foundations and other institutions interested in the knowledge, study, promotion and advancement of Tuscan and Italian ceramics, for the setting up of a pact of friendship amongst the centres of ancient ceramics’ tradition.

The AICC is actively involved in building relationships with European and/or extra-European institutions and cities which have similar statutory purposes or are interested either in the knowledge of the tradition of the AICC towns or in developing the ceramics tradition towards forms and expressions of enhanced artistic and qualitative significance. To this purpose the AICC is prepared to take part in specific projects at international level.
